Two monitors (VGA and HDMI) To a laptop (HDMI only)?

I would like to connect two monitors to my laptop. Problem: my laptop only has one HDMI output. The monitors run once via HDMI and once via VGA / DVI. Is there any way I can do that? What do I need for this (with as little effort as possible)?

PS: In the office I connected "everything" via a USB C cable that somehow everything runs over (two HDMI monitors, power, mouse, keyboard). I have no idea where this cable goes, what it is and what is attached to it 😂
