Can the company control here?

Can the company control Windows Defender history? Can you open files on your company laptop with a private USB stick?

In my experience, it is not allowed to connect "non-company devices" to company devices with the companies in question.

What the IT department can do and what you are allowed to do are at best stored in the company intranet or can be requested from the IT department.

Every company thinks differently about these issues…
