Hi. I need a (cheap) laptop for school. I have a PC at home, but we often do PowerPoint presentations. That's why I need a laptop. It should be rather cheap, as I said. Windows 10 should be there, it should keep PowerPoint stable, and maybe YouTube can stream in 1080p.
I just wanted to give you a hint: You would probably have to buy Office extra because you could also pay a bit. And are you just buying a laptop for a PPP at school? It should be possible to regulate this differently.
No, not just because of that. When I travel with my parents or something, I can take my laptop with me. I want to code a little while on the go.
And I can still do that with Office.
Ok then that makes sense
Cheap is a matter of opinion, what is your budget? If it is only used for office applications and is supposed to have Full HD, enter Amazon at Laptop: Full HD Windows 10 and then a lot should come of it. As I said, it is difficult to find something for you as I understand your question, it should only be able to play YouTube videos smoothly.
Yes. As I said, I have a PC. I can't travel with my PC or anything, it needs electricity and takes up a lot of space.
200 euro maybe? Ka
And you only use it for PowerPoint? I ask the system if so I would just choose the cheapest one for you
If you didn't know, a laptop also needs electricity.
Yes. Windows 10 should be there, it should be able to stream YouTube in 1080p without stuttering.
Yes. But he has a battery that stores this electricity:-)
Power Point can also be replaced with Libre Office presentation.
The AMD Ryzen Mobile models would be a simple laptop. You can get it at around 350 euro. Mine cost over 1100 euro, but it has a lot of memory (ram) and plenty of space to archive data.
AMD has announced the days of the AMD Ryzen Mobile 4000 series, you are already waiting from which manufacturer will release a model first. These would be the first laptops with 8 core processors in addition to the integrated (Vega / Navi) graphics unit. You also consume less power with a longer battery life than Intel Nvidia solutions.
Hi. I need a (cheap) laptop for school.
If the notebook is only needed for school and office (Powerpoint), I would either consider a ChromeBook instead or consider a refurbished notebook, it doesn't always have to be the latest, at least for me and if something breaks on a used device, the material damage is at least limited. What can happen quickly in school / university.
My tip to you: Check eBay or eBay classifieds to see if you can get a Lenovo ThinkPad T420 or the more powerful T420s cheaply there. With a little luck, you can get it for around ~ 70-80 euro. Then you buy a new battery and have a 14 "small but really robust notebook with which you can work really well. I already own five of these ThinkPads.
I made my last "snapper" just before Christmas. A T420 for 65 euro and almost brand new original battery. Especially the last model, in which the "classic" IBM keyboard is still installed. I love it! If eBay or eBay classifieds is too "tricky", there are also retailers like https://www.refurbed.de/?co=de&utm_cluster=3&utm_group=exact and Co who offer such devices with a 12 or 24 month guarantee. But you quickly spend twice on it.
My ThinkPads all shot cheaply on eBay and eBay classifieds and each one was in great shape. If you buy a hard drive caddy for ~ 10 euro, you can expand the memory "on-the-fly". Make macOS stable on the T420. If the BIOS is flashed with a suitable ModBios and the whitelist is removed, the W-LAN card can also be replaced by a macOS compatible one. Currently I'm running MacOS HighSierra and Catalina (macOS Catalina Patcher and Clover).

e.g. Is a little over 300 if you like I would read more reviews and possibly watch youtube videos, in the 200 area I would rather make a bigger arc
Otherwise as the others also said, maybe buy used things or even think about a Chromebook, I myself have a Chromebook and don't regret it, but I don't have Full Hd but it's not that bad with the diagonal screen that I have, everything still looks very good out.
It would also be good to know what you imagined as the size of the screen.
Is there another one? I also want to be able to stream YouTube in 1080p.
Of course there are other models too, so I would have to take a look myself and they will probably cost more. But I would like to check it out and link you here.
Look here: https://www.otto.de/...=978300090 The price-performance ratio is very good. Windows 10 is included. He easily meets your requirements.
My father bought this too.
Thank you for your answer! I'll get this laptop then!
