I'm looking for a very quiet notebook. The notebook should be light and quiet.
Background: I got advice from a business consultant and bought an apparently quiet notebook from Lenovo! Unfortunately, I have never seen such a loud notbook. Even with small work with Word, the fan turns completely through. I returned my Lenovo and they replaced the fan. However, he is still very loud. Now I want to give this notebook back, hoping to get a new device.
MacBooks.
I also thought about it. But is there a disadvantage?
I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 i7, zero noise! Only (a little) while playing expensive games. However, gaming notebook, so a little more expensive… Nevertheless, the lower price range.
As soon as you need more power so that it gets too warm, the fan goes on.
Thanks, is he easy too?
Okey thanks!
The 5th and 6th Generation Surface Pro with m3, i3 or i5 processor does not have a fan (which makes it completely silent) and weighs less than 1 kg with a keyboard. The i7 models again have active ventilation
The devices are not cheap (keyboard and pen (the latter is optional) must be purchased separately, as there are different colors and material variants), but really very useful. And do not be put off by the tablet form, there's quite a complete Windows PC in it.
But of course you have to remember that you can't have everything: small, light, quiet and high performance at the same time, that's just not possible.
The smaller and quieter the cooling solution should be, the lower is usually the performance. Unfortunately, you did not mention what you want to use the device for and how much power you need. The Surface with i5 is ideal for office work, surfing the Web, take digital notes, etc., is just quiet, but due to the reduced cooling performance not the strongest computer.
And besides, the current MacBooks are quite vulnerable to damage to the keyboard and the internal display cable. Also, they have a different operating system, MacOS, that may have unavailable programs that you know about Windows.
3 kg 17.3 inches so no student notebook.
Thank you!
There are no windows programs…
It's just an Apple Calculator.
While there are still ways and means, but this can be complicated and eats in addition computing power.
Thanks, as a student I will probably not use many programs
It has nothing to do with it.
On a Mac now run other programs than on a Windows machine.
Ok, there's also MS Office for the Mac, but for the most part you have to adapt to other programs.
As a "work tool", however, such a Mac is well suited, once you have become friends with the programs.
If I may give you a hint:
Look at Softmaker Office Pro.
https://www.softmaker.de/softmaker-office
This is available for Windows, Mac and Android.
It is a very good alternative to MS Office and contains the excellent spelling and grammar checker "Duden Corrector". Since MS-Office can't compete in the least. And besides, it is extremely compatible in terms of data exchange with MS Office.
I know about the FreeOffice, which is a slightly simplified excerpt from the Softmaker Office.
