Open boot menu on Lenovo G70 Notebook?

I do administrative work for a club and have a Lenovo G70 notebook for it. For BackUps I installed a standard version of Acronis True Imae, but I also wanted to try out whether it works alternatively with an emergency boot medium (USB stick or CD).

Unfortunately, when the notebook is started, there's only a Lenovo lettering without references to the BIOS or boot menu. Have already pressed all the usual keys when starting up, but it only starts Windows.

You can find nothing about it on the Lenovo pages, and contacting support is harder than getting a private audience with the Pope.

Who knows this "secret" to get into the BIOS or to choose an alternative boot medium?

If you press restart while holding down the SHIFT key, you will be taken to the Windows troubleshooting. As far as I know, there you can go directly into BIOS. The option you have to choose is something with firmware. Simply click through the options briefly, should be there.

Sorry, but that doesn't work.
