Ideapad or Medion?

Which of the two do you think is better?

I want to buy a convertible under EUR 450, hence the selection. Who has the better processor above all? I only know the Inter i3, i5, i7. What is the difference between gold and pentium?

The convertible should also be for beginners because my mother can no longer work and has to do some things online.

The question is: which IdeaPad and which Medion computer?
So we can't help you…

But: I only had good experiences with Lenovo (use an IdeaPad S540 myself), while I rather refrained from Medion as an "ALDI brand". But can have a great price-performance ratio, especially in the low-price segment.

Yes i7 is of course one of the best.
But it depends on what you want to do on the PC. But if you just want to surf the internet, i7 makes no sense.

Sa

Which 2 notebooks are you talking about exactly? And for which applications should they be used? Does it have to be a convertible?

Co

I added them above.

Yes, because I'm sure that it will be easier for my mother to deal with it. It will be like a cell phone, so to speak, and she can then write on it.

Simple things like Work with Word, surf the Internet or watch videos.

I would tend to Medion for the two notebooks here: 4GB RAM is pretty little these days, and the hard drive is also twice as big. I did not find anything unambiguous about the processors, the one from Lenovo's computer is somewhat newer, but has fewer cores (but with a higher clock rate). I would take the Medion notebook in view of the equipment, but you should look at both devices in the specialist shop, regarding processing, feeling of use etc. I would expect a high-quality device if I already took 450 euro in hand, which is why I would I'm rather skeptical about Medion. I would probably add a little more money and then buy an hp, acer, ASUS or Lenovo notebook with equivalent features. Just my (prejudiced) opinion.

A sales manager from lenovo once said to me: wherever it says Medion, there's lenovo.

Gu

Medion is lenovo - a sales manager from lenovo told me. Aldi does not produce its own devices.
