Moin, I'm at the end of my game, my ark always freezes after a few seconds or minutes and I just can't find the mistake. In the single player it runs without any problems. My internet is good enough for that too. The gpu and cpu don't overheat either, I've already checked that. I have now downloaded and reinstalled the game and Windows 10 several times. I did not purchase Ark from Steam but from Microsoft.
I play on a Schenker xmg P724 pro laptop, with an i7 and a gtx 880m (old but still works great) and 16GB ram. As I said in the single player, the game runs on ultra, but online it smacks constantly. Drivers are all up-to-date and I have already tried older drivers. If someone has an idea, then like to give it away
Hmm, since the game is not the Steam version, you can also play without mods, because I would have said now that it is due to mods that are too old, but it actually can't be…
Maybe you are looking for the log files, there are some somewhere, I can only tell you where…
Otherwise I can't imagine what the reason is… Look at the logs
Thanks, but the error memory always shows what kernel. With dual universe I had exactly the same problem, after I switched from DirectX to OpenGL in the menu, Dual Universe works in any case, since the way the surfaces were identical (both runs smoothly, but crashes after a very short time) I leave from that it has to do with the directx. But I have it directly on it and my graphics card is also capable of dx12 and I'm not shown an error anywhere… Hmm, really strange everything
Maybe the graphics card is getting too hot, have you dusted the box before?
