Save data from several devices on the network drive and mirror them on the respective devices?
So I can transfer all data from a laptop, mobile phone, PC via a network drive to a NAS / own cloud and then mirror the data on the devices. The idea of all data from all devices is stored on a NAS / cloud so that you can use each device involved could access the other's storage via the Internet. So that you don't always need Wi-Fi / internet, software synchronizes the data on all device hard drives when you have internet access.
Now my question,:
Is that possible
there are clever freeware
do you have any recommendations?
That's fine. I have had good experiences with Nextcloud. Can you set up your own server, even with Docker. Everything is open source and expandable. 👍
But I don't quite understand about the mirroring. What exactly do you want there? So that the server creates a backup copy on another drive?
When it comes to peer-to-peer synchronization, I can recommend Syncthing. There's no need for a server and that can also be done on mobile phones, tablets and over the Internet, even without a domain. 😉
