I need your help with buying a notebook. My head is already spinning from the whole comparison, especially since I don't really have a clue. It's like this: I'm looking for a laptop up to 400 euro (I know that's little).
90% of the time I surf the Internet, I really enjoy watching YouTube videos and otherwise work with them (mostly Google Docs etc). No video and image editing and no gaming either. What I also want is to make calls with my headset over a softphone (Voice over IP). I don't need a DVD drive. It should be 14 inches or more.
I hardly install any programs, as I'm now a real cell phone freak and prefer apps (it took a long time 😎).
Now I've found out for myself that Windows notebooks are probably not that great in this price range. Chromebooks should definitely be worth considering, since the Chrome OS operating system has very low hardware requirements.
I chose this one, maybe you can give us your opinion?
Pentium N5000, 15 inch, IPS Full HD Touch Display, 8 GB Ram, 128 GB EMMC hard drive for 389 euro at Cyberport).
I had almost decided to buy it, so my brother has to make me even more insecure 😂 He advises me to buy a used Macbook that is around 10 years old. I don't want to use it privately, but would such an old Macbook be really better than a new entry-level laptop?
Please, please help me ❤️😂
Maybe that?: https://m.notebooksbilliger.de/acer+aspire+3+a315+23+r3ec+669792
I would recommend a Chromebook. These are inexpensive and extremely fast. The Chrome OS operating system is tailored to the hardware installed. The Google Play Store is also there so that Android apps can also be installed on it. For example that: https://www.mediamarkt.de/...82027.html
If you already have a smartphone / tablet with Android, simply log into the Chromebook with your smartphone's Google account. Then you have the apps from the smartphone / tablet on the Chromebook. In addition, you can then synchronize between your smartphone and Chromebook via WLAN.
You can also write texts with a Chromebook. To do this, you simply install the Google Text app via the Google Play Store, for example. There are also the Google Sheets and Google Presentation apps.
You don't have to do without printing and scanning with a Chromebook. To do this, you need a wireless printer. Then all you have to do is install the printing app for your printer brand via the Google Play Store. If it is a multifunctional device, you can also scan with the app.
