I need your help.
Since my graduation is finally over, I already have one
Education in the field of media design digital and print found. Since my company is also working with macOS at school (iMacs, Macbooks) and my current Lenovo laptop is at the end of its performance, I thought to buy a Macbook Pro, namely:
APPLE MacBook Pro MR932D / A with German keyboard, notebook with 15.4 inch display, Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Radeon ™ Pro 555X, Space Gray
The problem is that it's a lot of money, and while I'll pay it off with installments, I've started looking more about the laptop and the comments are very mixed. Many say that it is a complete failure of Apple, others think that the laptop is really awesome.
I definitely like it, the design, display and system class. I can't ignore some comments.
I would like to know what you think about it? Does the device do a good job on programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign? Is it worth?
I look forward to factual comments written with facts and arguments. I'm really happy to read this.
best regards
Your avocado.
I can only give you a subjective opinion on this:
In my opinion, the technology that is in all Apple products does not justify their price. Also, the statement that Apple products are easier to use and so much more productive in Photoshop / Aftereffects or similar. I can't understand how I can work. The software ecosystem also lost its unique selling point in my opinion at the latest at the time of the 3rd IPhone.
With Apple products one buys my feeling only a lifestyle product. Either you want to be actively admired by others, or avoid being laughed at - as is unfortunately the case, for example, with a non-Apple product in graphic design or photography agencies.
Accordingly, I would answer your questions:
Does the device do a good job on programs like
Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign?
Good, yes, but not better.
Is it
value?
In my opinion, only if you value the lifestyle factor. From a technical point of view, Apple, in my opinion, has an underground price-performance ratio because of the price.
I can only agree with you. And to answer your question: Yes! I like Apple's look and feel. In addition, as stated above, I work with Apple only in my environment and therefore I find it easier especially if I work every day in the school and in the company with Apple, I can then work at home without major changes. My problem is whether it actually has technical faults or huge drawbacks.
Apple is usually very expensive when you see the pure hardware features, but at Apple you pay not only the hardware but also the MAC feeling with the operating system.
Personally, I would not buy an Apple because I do not like Apple (and yes, I've already worked on an Apple).
But if you work with Apple in your business, then you're unlikely to find an Apple around it. Ask your employer if he can't possibly get a cheap device for your training. It does not always have to be the most expensive, because 2800, - € are really a house number.
That sounds good, but the company does not have to buy one for me or promotes nothing at all. It's about me. Because theoretically I could work in the school and operate with the macbooks that offer me and then continue to work with windows at home.
My concern is that if I change once, then it will be right. And it's not me whether I should stay at windows or ned, but whether the Apple Macbook also has technical problems and whether it is really bad.
Perhaps it is not a bad idea at the beginning of your training to look around for a used device of the previous generation? 2.799 EUR I think it's already a hefty investment.
I would look for a used device for about 800 euro and then after training you will probably be equipped by your company anyway with a working device.
In my experience, having an Apple computer means you have no more or less technical problems than with any other brand-name Business Office PC.
The obsolete hardware is not a cent worth the only thing that was worth what would be the completely overpriced sold ssd and the screen
where you have to say that the per hardware models are not always completely scrap but in any case the money is not worth it
