Wanted to ask if I give my laptop for repair because of a broken hard drive how long would it take about to get the repaired?
To exchange a hard drive and if necessary to set up the PC, takes 1-2 hours in self-rehearsal
It all depends on whether you still have to send in the laptop, or there's a local store that repairs your laptop.

Swapping is cheaper, with some skill you can do it yourself.
Defect of the hard disk, the hard disk is replaced without the data contained on it deleted. Depending on warranty, status and service this can take up to 4 weeks (pick up and return). If only the hard drive is defective, I would buy a hard drive (new) to replace these against the defects and waive the loss of the warranty of the defective hard drive. If the hard drive is easy to replace and you do not have to disassemble half the notebook for it.
