Use internal drive as external? - 1

To be more precise, is there a way to connect the built-in CD drive in my computer to my laptop?

In other words, maybe connect the laptop to the computer so that it can access the drive?

I plan to play a game on my laptop, but it only runs on a CD and my computer with the drive doesn't pack it.

All of this is theoretically possible, but the easiest way will be if you buy an external drive. All other solutions are more complicated if you have little or no knowledge of computer science.

And pulling an image from the CD and mounting it on the laptop as a virtual CD drive doesn't work?

It is theoretically possible, but whether it makes sense is questionable?!
It's best to just buy an external drive.
