32GB RAM or 16GB?

I need a laptop for the school that needs to process large image files in Photoshop and Lightroom. So what is more to recommend 32GB RAM or 16GB? GPU, the laptop I'm looking at would have a GeForce 800M and an Intel i7 2.3Ghz processor.

I think you will not need more than 16.

The 16 GB are enough for regular users completely, for Photoshop could even less rich. Depending on the resolution etc.

I would only recommend the 32, if you would like to parallel video still, etc. Try to high resolutions. (Blender etc.)

Okay, before you hang up your memory, get your 16gb upgrade you should be able to do even more CPU performance. Image editing is computationally intensive and that's what cpu is all about.
