I wanted to ask whether 32GB RAM is the maximum on the laptop or you can only plug 32GB RAM into the slot.
I think 32 GB is the maximum that the mainboard can use on one slot
So you could only plug in 24GB of RAM?
It depends on the BIOS, how many GB it can manage. On the hardware side, there would still be a free space.
More importantly: What do you think you need 64GB of main memory for? For example, I have 8 GB and usually don't even use the first 4. For 64GB you would have to edit really big multimedia files.
More main memory is only useful if it is actually used, not if it is only there.
I didn't want to get stuck on 64gb RAM 😂, only on 16gb RAM.
