Yes I know this topic is taken up almost every day but I still ask myself this question: Is my notebook too hot when I play games like CoD or other Steam stuff.
I have a Medion Erazer X17805:
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070
CPU: Intel core i7 9750H
etc.
Nevertheless, there are some tools where you can check how hot the GPU and CPU get while you gamble. Here's the question: Are temperatures from 73 to 82 degrees normal? And can my notebook endure this in the long run?
Yes, these are good temperatures for a notebook and it can take it. The only question is how long the battery lasts with such devices
As long as they don't exceed 95 degrees, it's not dangerous for the component. Nevertheless, it would be advisable to play with such a temperature in the long run.
Yes these are temperatures that your laptop should be able to cope with, but if the temperatures rise above 100 degrees it can cause damage; that's why some use such a fan pad (I personally don't think much of it but well).
I only gamble with a power supply anyway
Things throttle themselves even if they get too hot so nothing breaks
Stop it. For years I only had notebooks and, unlike others, I'm a big fan of fan-driven documents. For the temperature, it is of course very good if the device receives pre-cooled air or there's generally less heat in the housing. I never had particularly high temperatures under load and the palm rest or keyboard was never particularly warm.
Then remove the battery, because it will break in the long run.
Search for HWMonitor - it shows you the temperatures of your components.
Doesn't work that easy
