Osu! Play with keyboard?

How can you at osu! Playing with the keyboard on a laptop? Somehow it doesn't work for me so xD

In the settings you should actually be able to set that, there's something with x & y, or z with an English keyboard

There's the keyboard and mouse displayed, can you somehow deactivate the mouse?

The mouse is always connected, no matter what you do. I play Osu on a graphics tablet and so I don't use the mouse. I was able to set the key assignment to x and y in the settings under a certain point. Nevertheless, the mouse is still functional and stays on even when I set it to x and y.
