Intel (r) core (TM) 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 240GHz overclocking?

Wants to get the last FPS out of my old laptop and wondered if I could get my CPU (in which case the Intel (r) core (TM) 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 240GHz.)

or can you actually overclock any CPU but with many it can cause permanent damage, would it work if it would cause damage?

Components:

CPU: Intel (r) core (TM) 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 240GHz

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

RAM: 4G (3 GB usable)

As I said, an old laptop is therefore the old components

So if the CPU is already making 240 GHz, where do you want to go? And overclocking in the laptop is usually not possible anyway, because on the one hand a certain limit is fixed so that the cooling comes with it.
