I would like to create on my old laptop (Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB DDR3 RAM) with Windows Spotify Bots. Now I wonder which Windows is suitable for this, Windows 7 no longer has support, so I ask myself Windows 8 or 10? Which uses less reccousen?

Hi

I also run windows 10, have 4GB and an intel i3 cpu

Win 10 Can you play on it, maybe adding 4GB from time to time

So on older and slightly worse hardware, Windows 8.1 actually runs better or Windows 10 (if you use a certain older version). But theoretically you could also buy Windows 10 "S". Is an extra version for slightly older devices / hardware. The latest version will run damn unpleasant on the hardware you described.

With Windows 8.1 you could say that it is "mature". Windows 10, however, is very buggy.

But you can also just say. Give it a try.

Here you can download the demo versions of Windows that are still supported and try before you buy and want to choose between Windows 8.1 and 10.

That's cool. Do you remember me?

W7. But with:

and:

I have and will stay at W7

W8 was bad.

W10 is a banana product - people only have problems with it.

I don't care about M $ support. W7 sparkles.

I also have Lubuntu.

Ah well, have fun with a Windows without security updates.

So for me, Win 10 runs on a Pentium Dual T3200 with 3GB DDR2 memory

Really, then prefer to continue using Windows XP. Or Windows 2,000! Or Windows 98. Nobody expects that, so you are safe! * Irony alarm *

You can also use 10 anti-virus programs, it is not about that you get more viruses with Win7, but that your computer is no longer so well protected against hacker attacks. Or security is no longer taken care of. There's probably a reason why Windows 10 gets a security update every month.

And when I see links from Chip I feel sick

Not directly, need a little donkey bridge

I have now installed Win 7 and Win 10 next to Linux, so I can't see a big difference in both, as long as you get the drivers for your PC up and running there. Some computers are supposed to run even faster under Windows 10, but I can't confirm that either. I only go to the Internet on Linux, since everything is possible now, I use Windows more for multimedia applications.

Ha

That's nice. So, is it going well or is it just starting? How is working with the browser, typing with any office and watching full HD content with 3 GB RAM?

Di

Watching videos is very funny: YouTube even has problems with 360p content, with local videos going well
