I'm currently looking for a good convertible notebook for school. I need it for programming, among other things, which is why it should have Windows. I also want to be able to make notes on it so that I don't always have to lug blocks around with me so a stylus that is already there would also be quite good.
I would be reluctant to spend 1000 euro on a Surface Pro where half of the accessories still have to be bought. My pain threshold is around 600 euro - 700 euro. Do you get something reasonable for the price or should I do without the touch display and get a normal notebook?
Why do you need Windows to program?
Take a look at the Lenovo miix series!
I think 12 inches is best for school.
What else? You will hardly get Linux pre-installed from the manufacturer, they all have Windows on them.
