I have a Medion laptop where the display slowly changes color, it gets mostly white with purple and turquoise strokes in it. As soon as I move the screen a bit, it will be back to normal, but only for a second, then it will freeze again and slowly turn white again. Does anyone know what you can do about it?

Suspected cable breakage or contact of the ribbon cable is no longer 100% intact.

Solution: Save the data on time.

If the device is quite old is probably not even worth a repair.

As I also suspect a cable break.

… Exchange cables.

You can test this by connecting an external monitor and if the error does not migrate, the graphics card (chip) o.k.

And just a mistake on the cable or monitor of your notebook.

Of course it could be that the monitor panel itself gives up the ghost.

However, I have to agree with my co-authors: I also suspect a cable break in the monitor cable or a contact problem. Finally, this has a certain amount of wear by opening and closing the laptop.

You need a technician, who aufschaubt the device and look.
Replacing the ribbon monitor cable is cheaper than installing a new panel or replacing the laptop.

If you have someone in the catchment area who can safely screw a laptop up, you could let someone see it.
