I have an Omen laptop and set it up again yesterday via USB stick. Now after successful installation I wanted to play GTA V, but I only have 15 fps in gameplay even with minimal graphics. You can also hear from the fans that the PC is underutilized.
My hardware:

CPU: Intel Core i5-7300HQ with 2.50GHz

RAM: 8 GB

Graphics card: Nvidia Gefore GTX 1060 with Max-Q design

In the NVIDIA Control Panel. I don't have an NVIDIA GPU myself, but you can certainly look for updates there.
