Notebook does not accept SDHC when booting?

I wanted to use my SDHC as a "boot stick" and have already loaded all the data on it. Now I've put the SD in my new notebook, but I can't boot with it. It is not shown to me as a possibility and if I want to boot into the BIOS, it just beeps. Can somebody help me?

Did you actually put a boot image on the card?

So created a real boot medium?

I also had a Lenovo Thinkpad, was due to the internal SD card reader, which works perfectly but the Bios simply did not see it as a boot medium in front of them. You will probably only have a USB card reader (so it is just another USB stick for the computer) or just a normal USB stick.

Ha

I guess yes? I see a kind of arrow on the USB medium. Just like the Windows ISO Tool looked like.

br

How did you make the card bootable? Which tool?

You don't just slide an IMG file onto the card and it's done.

Ha

I used the Media Creation Tool for this.

Then I suspect that your notebook does not support this.
