It depends on what you want to use it for.
I would generally recommend 8 GB RAM, but with the (hopefully) SSD it really depends on the purpose.
I have a 128 GB SSD in my laptop. But that's enough even for software development, image processing and a lot of office work.
Depending on the application, RAM (RAM) and mass storage are required, as is the screen size and resolution.
(Rule of thumb: No matter how much you have - all four are always much too small.)
