I have recently bought a docking station for my laptop, which has 1 HDMI and 1 VGA port. I wanted to connect now 2 extra screens but the docking station does not respond. As soon as I connect the docking station, the message display is limited. Have tried drivers, etc. But to install nothing works. Even the USB ports on the docking station are not responding. The station is connected via USB port type C. Is from the brand Digitus. Hope you can help me.
Since it is a docking station, which was not explicitly designed for this laptop but is a universal solution for every laptop with USB C, I guess a missing driver.
Dogingstation, thought the question has something to do with dogs… XD
To your question, would also have typed on driver install, but can apparently synonymous compatibility issues:
If you want to install a docking station, this is a bit different than you would expect from other peripherals. Here, too, the appropriate driver must be installed, which are selected based on the operating system installed on the laptop. But first, the driver must be installed before the http://www.dockingstation-test.de/ can be used. Then the notebook is connected to the devices for the first time. If there are problems with the connection, already installed programs should be checked for possible compatibility problems with the driver software of the docking station. In general, however, the installation of a docking station is completely trouble-free.

Yes, I thought so too. But unfortunately I can't find a driver for the docking station on the internet: /
