Is it possible to write messages about Insta on the laptop?

I have just logged in to Instagram and want to send a message to a specific person, but this is not shown to me anywhere. Is not that easy or am I missing a button somewhere?

But there are programs that you can do that with. Arrives on your mobile phone whether it goes via PC or laptop.
