Spider last honor or release?

For weeks, the same spider rappels every evening at about the same time exactly above my standing in the middle of the chair. Usually I lie in bed at this time and can see the glittering silk thread and the writhing Something in the pale light of my reading lamp.

Unfortunately, today I still had to send some documents, which is why at this late hour I sit with my laptop on my lap in my chair. When I first wanted to get up to get a new tea, my eye suddenly caught a spider on my right armrest, which seems to have hurt.

Although the animal did not move, it was clearly recognized that two of its legs were broken at the lowest limb in the middle. I picked up the animal and wondered if I should not pay him the last respect, or if I should not just leave it alone, so it can decide for itself if it wants to go on like this.

Which decision is morally correct?

Re

As long as you consume meat, the question is probably exaggerated.

Before the animal torments, it should be redeemed.

I would release the spider, because when she recovers, I think most of all in her habitat.

Decide the way you feel best. Maybe she will recover again? Unfortunately, I do not know exactly how fractures heal spiders. If you let her go, think about going far enough away from the apartment because the spider will find the way back to your apartment.

My apartment is her living space. Here she feels good. Outside she would die directly in the cold.
