Where do I have to look? Have a 1000k line but rarely pull over 100k. Once 800 otherwise max 500 now only about 50k. Can you check in the system how much my laptop can do at all? Mine now hardware related
It depends on the network card. Usually, notebooks have a 1GBit card and you can use the 1000k line fully. The fluctuations are due to the provider and the overbooking of the remote site, i.e. Too many customers on one distributor
So a 1 Mbit / s line (= 1000k) is slow snoring these days.
Especially 50k - Since my ISDN line was able to do 64k more in the 90s.
No matter what you mean by "pulling the Internet" - it won't be quick and it won't be much.
Could of course also be that your confusion about the values has to do with the fact that you are not familiar with units of measurement…
