I read a few days ago that laptops can contain toxic substances that leak out when they break. Then it occurred to me that about 5 years ago I had to work for a few weeks with a laptop where the screen was broken. Can it be that I have poisoning by inhaling or touching toxic substances? I have not had any complaints since then, can it still be that I've got something without noticing it or would I have noticed that in any case?
Did you lick the broken display?
Unlikely. It is far more likely that you have poisoned yourself on many other things in these 5 years, without realizing it.
No, of course not, but just touched.
The only thing that would be dangerous, would be the battery and then only if it would burst. Otherwise there's nothing dangerous or poisonous.
