Which ram do I need (MSI Ge75 Raider)?
I have an MSI Ge75 Raider 9sf 1098 notebook and want to upgrade the RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB. I'm doing this for the first time and wondering what maximum clock rate it can have. I have also attached a few pictures from the CPU tool for you. I also had this memory (Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16, High Performance Desktop RAM Kit Black) in mind and would like to know whether it would work or what you would recommend.

It will certainly run, just not with the maximum supported clock frequency. The CPU can only hold 2666.
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB… Is not a notebook memory.
You need SODIMM memory.
Your chipset is an HM370 and only supports 2666MHz, so it is not necessary to use faster ones.
You can only look in the BIOS how high the controller can be turned or whether 2666mhz is the highest that is stored in the BIOS… But I can see right now, the CPU no longer supports…
MSI Ge75 Raider notebooks have two RAM slots, so that you can't upgrade, you can only replace the memory completely with 2x 16GB Dual Channel DDR4-2666 So DIMM modules. According to MSI, up to 64GB can be used. So 32GB shouldn't be a problem. Your processor supports up to DDR4-2666 So DIMM RAM.

Since notebooks / laptops are not suitable for overclocking, due to the design and the associated cooling problems, I do not believe that faster memories are supported than DDR4-2666 RAM. Because for this the memory controller in the processor has to be overclocked and XMP is not supported on notebooks, in my opinion. At least I don't know that. Therefore, it is best to use a 32GB (2x 16GB) DDR4-2666 Dual Channel So DIMM RAM kit.

What you were looking for out of there are memory modules for desktop PCs and not suitable for notebooks, they don't fit.
