Can you have to take my pc with you for business reasons? No desire to buy a laptop now (Abroad to America)
It is best to check directly with the airline whether there are components that could be critical. I can't think of any at the moment. Anything that has to do with a battery would have to be carried in your hand luggage. I'm not sure whether this also applies to electronics to this extent.
Protect the components well (stuff them with cardboard paper) and put them in your luggage (you can also request a piece of luggage because it is handled more carefully (I don't know if you have to remove the button cell, just ask)
