From Intel to NVIDIA Linux?

Have on a disk (which is in a notebook) with an Intel graphics card driver. If I now build the disk into a computer with an NVIDIA card, will the system still work? Or do I have to remove the Intel driver first? (Kali Linux)

DDU is always good and removing current graka software

you would have more problems with Radeon to NVidia. Or old card too brand new

Lu

Is it a Windows or Linux system?

hu

I'm assuming Linux.

The Intel driver can stay. There are problems with the Nvidia drivers: https://www.archlinux.org/news/nvidia-45528-is-incompatible-with-linux-59/

No, it stays on.

Linux always provides open source drivers for Intel, AMD and Nvidia (nouveau) as standard, which should also be left on.

Then works automatically. But I would definitely install the proprietary Nvidia drivers.

After installing it in the other computer, just start it without graphics and make the necessary settings, then an init 5 and that's it.
