I'm at the Bitcoin mining with my PC with a graphics card 2080 Super and my AMD Ryzen 7.
Now I have a laptop lying around downstairs with a 1050TI graphics card.
And an I5 processor. Would it be worth using this laptop?
Worth it? In Germany? Either way, as long as you don't do it en masse.
Just breaks your laptop. Nothing will.
Is only seen as a small extra income, I'm still a student, that's why. I calculated electricity costs per month at 90-100 euro a month, and income would be at least 150, so it goes much higher. Just so that I have a little something on the side. And yes, I know I have up to 450 euro a month off.
What do you expect from it? The financial return in such a small environment is usually less than the electricity consumption.
With the electricity I pay, it's only worthwhile if I mine together with 3 large cards. Anything with less computing power in relation to power consumption is not profitable.

Should be just a little pocket money. Would make 50 euro and more minus electricity costs. And I think that should be enough for a student ^^. Correct me when I'm wrong
Not just electricity costs.
Nice hardware wear and tear.
Your laptop won't last long.
Are you.
Buying a new laptop because your hardware has given up is definitely more expensive and takes away more than your monthly 50 euro.
Okay and with my PC? Because I have 2080 Super and AMD Ryzen 7. The temperature is 50 - 66 degrees.
I just replied to the previous comment. ^^ So on the other.
Does not change anything in terms of hardware wear.
It's just not worth it privately in the small scale.
No matter how you turn it.
Okay, sorry for the stupid question, but what wears out and what makes that wear out? Sorry I really have no idea about it
Since your hardware runs under constant load, it breaks much faster, of course.
One should actually know. XD
That with the 2080 Super can really be worthwhile, the rest of your PC should also be set correctly, but you can forget about that with your laptop. For 2080 I would say -10 euro to + 50 euro per month
Okay, but the temperatures are low and the fan is running normally, so isn't it being used that much? Would it be worth saving with the current set-up and buying a kind of miner yourself? But if I reduce the power of the miner, I assume the money is also reduced.
Of course the money is reduced.
And it's not about the temperatures.
The hardware still runs under full load, which puts more strain on the hardware in the long run and it gives up sooner.
Would a one day break between the months do anything? From me also 2 days
And mining stations are designed for that? Are in principle only graphics cards in such slots with a mainboard etc. Would one be worthwhile?
No.
Mining stations can cope with that.
Would it be worth buying one? What if I saved a little with the current set-up?
You can't afford that xD
Okay and there are such variants with mining as a USB stick or have I misunderstood something? And you can't afford that with - well such a case costs 200 euro Then the graphics cards 5 thousand euro all together
And how are you ever going to be able to afford that with your 50 euro a month? XD
Part-time job, 450 euro per month Faith like at Edeka. There twice a week.
Just forget about the whole bitcoin thing.
It's just not worth it in Germany.
So as long as you don't move to Iceland or the like, you can actually bend it.
