Hello as you know gta5 is currently free in the epic games store. Well, the servers were down due to overload, but I was able to secure gta5. I've got it now, but only have a laptop. The minimum for gta5 is 4GB RAM, I checked and there's that my laptop has 4GB RAM, but then in brackets that only 3.83 RAM can be used. Does that mean I can't play gta5?
It depends on the rest of the components like the processor and graphics chip, but 4 GB alone is not enough for such a game. But since it's free anyway, you can try it out on your laptop.
No. If your laptop only has 4GB, I assume that it doesn't even have a real graphics card. That is a very clear no.

I was able to get GTA V to work on my old system with 4GB RAM, on 720p Very Low with ø 10FPS and a lot of stutters. It will be no fun for you to play like this.

Yes, and unfortunately it won't work either. The processor alone is far too weak for this game, which is still quite hardware-hungry. As I know most laptops with this processor, an equally lame graphics chip is also installed here.
