Laptop crashes every 10 minutes?

Moin, I bought my laptop 2 to 3 years ago. It has been crashing every 10 minutes since last year (October). What could be the cause? And it rarely connects to the Wi-Fi (and when I'm connected to the Wi-Fi, the connection breaks off in 5 minutes). Please only answer if you know it or if you have any idea.

Could be anything. You should at least give us the hardware.

How do these crashes express themselves?

Do you get a blue screen (if so, what error is reported?) Or does the computer freeze?

Have you ever checked whether the fans in the tractor are still working? Clogged fans are a popular source of interference!

Have you checked whether the chips on the mainboard (Northbridge, Southbridge) are still sufficiently cooled?

Does the cooling of the graphics card still work?

What about the media (hard drive, SSD)? Are they still OK?

Despite very little information, my guess is that the compi will get too warm at some point…

Could have different causes after 2-3 years dust accumulates in the laptop which can cause overheating.

Maybe hardware is broken, let's run a test if he can do it without crashing.

I would in my place save my data first and then reinstall Windows after 2-3 years a lot accumulates and even by installing and uninstalling programs, remnants can remain on the laptop which ultimately crashes over time due to errors bring.

Simply installing windows or whatever os again, is quick and often solves all problems

For example, I always reset all devices every six months

So they stay fast, are not clogged and keep their technical "shine"

No, it just crashes.

Okay thanks

Pe

I did it in October

The screen goes black and then it is off

To me it sounds very much like the problem is caused by too much dirt in the device. The first step would be to clean the cooling system including the fan properly or have it cleaned (a little with a vacuum cleaner is of little use here). Then, of course, hardware defects may have occurred or the often helpful re-installation then brings everything to good.
