For a few days my laptop crashes constantly (screen freezes). (Windows 10)
And always when I do not do anything for 2-3 minutes (not at the desk). I can spend hours on the PC - he never crashes, only if I do not move the mouse for 2 minutes and do not type anything on the keyboard.
I had guessed if it was related to the screensaver, but with the setting to 1 minute, this also goes on and then freezes 2 minutes later. And if I set the screensaver timer to 10 minutes approx. Then the screen freezes before the screensaver comes on.
Can it be related to the video card? But why does everything work as long as I'm actively doing something on the PC (videos, games, everything works).
My next consideration would be if there are errors in the energy storage settings.
Can someone help?
Does the laptop crash or does it go into stand-by mode?
Get the free program CCCleaner and run a scan, clean everything and then run a registry scan again.
Maybe then you will help, the prog is easy to use.
Also turn off unnecessary services on startup and remove strg + alt + via Task Manager during the run

STOP! Certainly not install CCleaner, otherwise you get the garbage even more on your PC. Ccleaner deposits his secret subprocesses everywhere, is adware and independently installs programs, ads, pop ups, collects your data and almost all your inputs, which you do to your PC, causing a vollgemülltes and slow system. The internet connection will also suffer as CCleaner - as written - uploads your data to its servers - who knows what's going on with it. Definitely not! If, then do a scan with an AV (Malwarebytes is thorough and also has a 14-30 day full version, otherwise Avira or Avast).
Also do not disable services unless you know the area and know what the risks are. The only service I would really disable is "Superfetch", because this service manages the system completely wrong and unnecessarily eats away resources.
Of course I do not know my way around
Crashes properly.
It then works garnix more, only turning off the power button
Go to the Control Panel and look in the error log in Computer Management, which is displayed under Administrative Events.
If you can name the mistake, we can narrow down the causer.
Maybe it's a little virus or something like that. Have you ever tried to rebuild the laptop?
Could also be that he simply turns off to save energy. You never know ♂️
