First look for the error yourself and replace the part if it is worth it. Send in within the warranty.

If he has a guarantee I will have it repaired where I bought it. Otherwise I see that a repair makes no sense depending on the defect and buy a new one. Or I open it and replace the component myself, which is not a problem for me with a fan, ram, hard drive or DVD drive. Anything else would exceed the price.
We have a small company (2 people) who take care of it. I have used it twice and was satisfied. The first time I had a hard drive replaced by a faster one and the second time I had to change a socket.
