Skype without an account?

I have an application interview on Skype tomorrow and have received a link to it. I wanted to ask whether I have to install Skype on my laptop beforehand & create an account, or whether it works similarly to zoom and I can only get in with the link.

You should install it on your laptop. You also need an account for Skype. If you have a Microsoft account, you can simply use this. Try it out again today and register once so that nothing goes wrong tomorrow.
