I have a thin client and just need a screen. Unfortunately I'm not technically knowledgeable, so the question of whether I can connect it to the laptop or to the TV and if so, what cables do I need?
The notebook's screen is already connected to the notebook's graphics card / graphics chip via special cables and therefore can't be used as an output device.
This should work on the TV without any problems if the right interfaces are available there.
