Does it harm my laptop when it is in the sun?

I have my laptop on my desk and the sun shines in there for several hours a day. It makes him hot quickly. Does it hurt him?

Co

Basically, it does not hurt the laptop directly. The heat causes the metal parts etc to expand and when it gets cold, they contract. Thus it can be maximally that it comes more to the Wakelkontakt / small breaking points at solder joints or so. Otherwise nothing happens.

Ir

It has to be VERY hot for that to happen. If whole bridges only expand by one meter in the summer, that's less of a problem with a notebook.

Ut

Yes, if he is doing it. Most parts die in the PC anyway the "heat death", and so you force this only.

Pr

Heat could be a problem, so shorten the life of something, and when the window is on (glass filters UV for the most part out) could damage the UV light over a long time the plastic.

Co

Bridges have a different material and a different thickness, because it behaves a little differently.
