I need help please and would be willing to pay something.
It's about an I Phone 8 with 64 GB, which I bought from Saturn in March 2019.
Since last year it doesn't work anymore. The screen froze more and more often, until one day it froze completely and has never responded since then, notifications came in anyway.
I tried to reset it via iTunes, but it did not work because I would have had to press "allow" on the device, but the display did not respond. Somehow I was able to separate my Apple ID from it via laptop, but that didn't work.
Friends who work as computer scientists then tried to swap the display with one that was bought from Amazon.
Unfortunately, the display still couldn't be operated afterwards. Lately the cell phone is on and makes noises when it is charged / switched on, but the screen is completely black. I would be very grateful if someone could help me and would also pay for a repair!
The device has just been lying around for more than half a year and is useless.
I'm a full-time cell phone repairer. I don't think repairs are expensive.
I would offer it in my shop for around 20 euro. If you can't find one, feel free to send it to me.
