Leave the laptop infected overnight?

I've gotten a new laptop and I want to download something, I can leave it without breaking anything overnight (infected)

Do that often… Never had any problems.

My laptop has been infected overnight for almost 2 years every day.
The battery will thank me, but even that has enough capacity.

Sometimes I disconnect the power to discharge it deliberately.

Sure it works.

This usually works a few weeks in a row.

Mega for the battery is not that, but you can do it schonmal.
