I found my old Medion Akoya P6638 notebook today.
However, I noticed that a few keys on the keyboard are missing and I can't reattach them.
So I searched the internet for a replacement keyboard, but couldn't find one.
Does anyone know of an alternative that also fits my laptop?
Connect an external keyboard.
Well, since I wanted to take the part with me, an internal one would of course be better: /
You wrote that buttons are missing, but that you can no longer attach them. So do you still have the keys? If so: If nothing is broken, you can clip it back in. Get in touch with a Repair Cafe here… Under no circumstances should you try to force it yourself!
I still have the keys, but those plastic parts that normally sit in the keys have also been lost.
So I thought about getting a replacement keyboard.
If the device is too old to get a replacement part, you only have the USB keyboard as an alternative. Unless you find a scrap laptop with a similarly structured keyboard… And get the plastic parts there. You can also see how they have to be clipped.
Well, you can still find spare parts for other notebooks on Ebay.
Maybe one of them will also fit my laptop: /
