Broken laptop? - 4

I have an old laptop where I unplugged the battery. It is on my desk with a cable. Now I wonder can the laptop somehow break because it is always being charged. Because it can't actually be overloaded.

I mean no

li

Nope. You can also use the laptop without a battery.

Br

That is clear, but if it is connected to the electricity all the time, like a printer or something, it can break. Overloaded

Pi

No, it doesn't overload anything

li

Nope. There's a power supply unit that also has a fuse. This is just as dangerous as using a normal stationary PC

pu

Overcharging can happen with batteries. But if you connect the laptop directly to the power supply without a battery, the laptop can take the juice it needs directly. As is a printer.

Na

If there's no battery in it, nothing can be overcharged. Printers should go into standby mode after a while, almost off.

OK
