Is this Wlan stick good or can it be good at all?

Have before me a Wlan stick to buy for my laptop, and have looked on the Internet, and found this! https://www.amazon.de/...07S6B32NH/

Wanted to ask if that is serious

Are there any laptops without Wi-Fi? If the card is defective: Replace! The internal antenna is certainly better!

It works already (unless it is defective) and it also works practically because it is almost without a trace in a USB port, BUT I fear that the reception is lousy! And when it comes down to it, you annoyed yourself dead, or has to go crazy to have a decent reception!

As silly as the vllt looks, take something bigger, which is not so strong, possibly with extra cable and iwie a Saugnapfhalterung!

If you use it only at home and are ready to optimize your own Wi-Fi, OK. In cafes, trains, the university, oä you have to take care of the reception! And with the part, you have to align the whole laptop… Annoying!

The stick is neither the data nor the price of her good and serious.

In order to get a good WAN connection, you also have to be ready to pay for it.

A good stick is e.g. The FRITZ! WLAN Stick AC 860

Is it really that bad to post here the correct link to Amazon instead of using URL-shortener? At least you know where to go.

Ka

The Amazon links are so long, so I use a shortener for those long links. The seriousness of the link can be derived from my profile.

If you cut off the referral stuff, they're still working fine. Sure, I'm not worried about you, but it's always a thorn in my side. The worse, if anyone with Level 2 starts to post something like that.

The good thing is, he is small… So can hardly break something…

the bad thing about it: it is small… So the antenna just has no place.

Are you sure you want one, because normally, for 20 years, all laptops are equipped with wi-fi as standard.

Yeah, of course I'm aware that all computers today have a Wlan antenna built in, but I need a small, cheap Wlan stick for Virtualbox to have Linux on Virtualbox in Wlan…
