I actually have two problems and I would be grateful to everyone who brings me light into the dark, namely, I'm currently booting on my notebook from a usb stick on which ubuntu is playing, now the thing is, it is only a 2gb usb stick ubuntu had just been enough, I had no other usb stick at the time when I created this stick, the interest was too great to create a bootable stick with linux ubuntu on the previous operating system with windows to test everything was fine until then but unfortunately my hard drive jumped off and I'm stuck on a 2gb usb stick so to speak that would be a problem
the second problem would be i have no internet in 5 days anymore, because it has to be canceled spontaneously from vodafone due to renovation work on site, i will have to look for a new provider, i didn't want to get bored at home right now without internet and would like or would have wanted to play some video games on my notebook for a long time and most pc games are now released for windows, which is why an operating system like windows 10 would come into question, but how do I create another bootable 64 gb usb stick with windows on the 2gb usb stick from which I boot when the windows iso file consumes about 5gb and can't be placed?
of course I had the idea to move it to another stick with more memory and remove it from there for burning to the 64gb usb stick, if only there wasn't a hack with the usb ports, because I only have 3 ports in total and two are already occupied, one boat I use, the other I use the mouse because, the mouse on the notebook is defective, so I only have one port free
does anyone have an idea how i get the problem solved to be able to use windows applications maybe there's a possibility to burn the iso file directly onto the 64gb usb stick without first having to remove it?
and i know i can get a multiple ports connector but i'm sick and lying in bed i can't get out in the 5 days and i rode myself into this tricky location so i will get it solved.
Meal Gargamel3,
it all sounds a little mixed up with you.
Do you only have a 2GB stick available? So you can forget.
Your internal hard drive has given up the ghost? In what way? What exactly is no longer possible? Is it an HDD or SSD?
You always start your notebook with Linux from the stick, right?
Do you have any other USB sticks or external drives at home? Do you know someone who can get you something? Are you really so sick that you can't get up? You could order something, then all you have to do is go to the door to accept the package.
Meal dolphin1989,
I boot from a 2GB USB stick. Unfortunately, I once fell on my notebook to the ground. Since then, my HDD hard disk is no longer displayed to me, so I carefully removed it and stored it in a safe place until I had the money to repair it… Right
I only have one 64 gb usb stick available… Yes, I could do it, hm maybe there will be another way…
