I've had the problem for weeks that my Wi-Fi on the laptop constantly breaks off. From one moment to the other, the websites no longer load and eventually appears in front of the WLAN icon from yellow exclamation point. Then I disconnect the connection briefly and then I connect again. Then it goes back for a few minutes and then the game starts again. The fix says that any proxy settings could not be determined. No idea what that means.
Can someone help?
For me it was bad reception. I'm on the 1st floor. Wall + 5 meters overwhelm my laptop. On 5 GHZ band it works better. Disable the 2.4 and take 5 GHZ.
How can I do that?
What is your router called?
Fritzbox 7590 XR
Type "http: // fritz.box" (without the quotation marks) in the address bar of your browser. The user interface of the Fritzbox should now appear. Does not work, try it over the IP of the Fritz box. Mostly this is "192.168.178.1" or "169.254.1.1"
Uninstall the driver in the device manager, reboot.
Sometimes there's a defect of the WLAN modules in the PC / notebook. The chips heat up and only when the heating up, the errors occur. And if you then disconnects the line or the module switches off, they cool and then have a short-term function again.
Unfortunately, you can't test that, because then only one other module will help.
To determine whether it is your wireless router, you need to connect only with a cell phone or other device via Wi-Fi and see if the error is synonymous appearance.
Of course, this is also possible if you turn on the hotspot on your mobile phone and then connect to your PC / notebook via the mobile phone to the Internet.
