PS4 Pro loses internet connection after a while?

I have the following problem. As described in the title, my PS4 Pro loses connection to the Internet after a certain time.

When the connection breaks off I can't say exactly because it is always different sometimes it happens after 30 minutes but sometimes I have 2 hours of connection. I tested it with a friend in which we both played Borderlands 3 on the Internet with PlayStation4 voice chat and I was connected for almost 2 hours. However, it may be that this method forced the PS4 Pro to maintain the connection.

If the connection breaks off, I only notice when I end the game or the film and the news window no longer wants to load / update or I'm kicked out of an online game.

I use a W-LAN connection, which many would probably not call good, but there's no other way I can't make a LAN connection because the PS4 Pro is one floor above the modem.

I use a FritzBox 6490 Cable and my provider is Kabel Deutschland.

I also found out about it in my guild and on the PlayStation support forum, but what I read and what I was told intersects a lot. One from my guild says that it is the PS4 because there were a lot of complaints with the PS4 Pro because of similar problems but on the other side reads in the PS4 forum that it is not the PS4 but probably the settings on the modem.

In the PlayStation forum wrote a solution:

One should in the modem settings window under

Wi-Fi → radio channel → radio channel settings → advanced settings

the two hooks at:

- To improve data transmission, Wi-Fi devices can be automatically controlled between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands

and

- Wi-Fi coexistence active

remove but for me it reads as if you set the modem completely only 5 Ghz and then all devices that use 2.4 Ghz no longer connect to the Internet, which would then be PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets.

Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

Knowing what could be the problem is the modem or the PS4?

Is the suggested solution from the PS4 forum helpful or are my concerns justified?

That was the problem for me too. Set a fixed frequency, 5 GHz should run better and more stable than 2.4. Your PS4 is not a magician or a hacking device, it does not change anything on the other devices or on your router. It then only receives at 5Ghz - some PS systems have the problem that they switch back and forth automatically when the other frequency is running better. "

Okay, can you please tell me exactly how you solved the problem?

When it comes to settings for the Internet I'm unfortunately a complete noob out of fear of doing anything wrong.

Settings - set up Internet connection, search for WLAN again. When you see the networks, you should be able to press the triangle. Then there should be only 2.4Ghz "and, only 5Ghz". Then select only 5 Ghz. Select your Wi-Fi and log in as normal, as usual (maybe enter the network key again)

Okay thanks
