I bought a FL Studio 20 Signature Edition. Now I don't know what to do next. What is better? PC or laptop? How can I record my voice? And mine is right to edit or as well as autotune and so on. How can I create real instrumentals? It's all so difficult and even with English. I would like to create a finished single song of myself and upload it directly to Youtube or Instagram. Hope I get helpful answers
P. S I want to produce old school dancehall riddim and I want to become a dancehall artist! My dream when my single LP's or albums are sold!
PC or laptop is relative as long as it has the right hardware that FL also lists.
The best way to record vocals is with Edision.
Autotune are external plugins, some are free, some cost money, so you have to look for what you like and what fits into your workflow.
How do you create proper instrumentals? Urch music theory. First I would take a course if not everything should be done prefabricated with loops or if it sounds like a car accident. External devices like a midi keyboard are almost a must for this, but they don't cost the world.
Before you decide on a style, first do the tutorials that you find, regardless of whether it is house, techno or whatever, so that you get a feel for the program. You will hardly get around English because these are mostly the best you can find.
Otherwise watch Newtone in FL for autotune, but I'm not a fan of it.
