People in my old laptop was a 2 core AMD A4-4300M,
4gb ddr3 ram and an HDD, I have now bought an SSD as an upgrade, and 8Gb ddr3 Ram, with the hope that my laptop runs faster. I'm just afraid that the 2 kernel will slow down my entire system, although I bought a ssd and 8GB ram, the thing is that I can't replace the processor because it is already built into the mainboard. So my question now, will the 2 kernel completely slow me down now? PS: Don't play games, only use office, chrome etc.
You will notice the "schwuppdidupp" feeling of performance after you have installed the components and installed WINDOWS.
Are all "drivers" installed (graphics, WLAN, sound)?
Does the PC work without "stuttering", even after e.g. Ofice has installed.
If it works for you satisfied, you have already received the answer.
The drivers are installed by windows update
Well on my other computer, I only get half the speed, i.e. 250 Mb and it runs much faster, if I run a test on my laptop, I get about reading and writing, 450MB and AHCI is activated, but it doesn't work fast, of course it runs a little faster now but not as I imagined. Because my other PC that only has half the speed runs twice as fast as my laptop, so I wonder if it is because of 2 kernels, or because 4GB ram is, that's why I bought 8Gb, with the hope that he now runs faster in German.
The upgrade to 8GB RAM should be pretty useless for surfing & Office (at least with "normal" use, you can of course also make Chrome use several GB of RAM, of course).
An SSD, on the other hand, should make a noticeable difference in speed.
But as you say yourself correctly, the laptop doesn't get really fast because of the processor.
So even if I have ne SSD, will the CPU still brake the system or how?
Yes, the CPU is the absolute BRAKE!
But you can't do more and better to your notebook.
You have already got the most out of the system.
Maybe you should have thought about a new, much faster notebook for 300 euro.
ANNOTATION:
The A4-4300M is in reality and in real terms only a single core CPU with 2 threads!
Quote:
There are two integer units per module, but only one FPU is installed, which is why the A6-4400M can only speak of a real 2-core to a limited extent.
Yes thanks, but what should I do now? I have now given 60 euro for the ssd, 25 euro for the 8GB ram, and now I hear that the CPU slows down my system completely, what kind of laptop would you recommend to me?
PS: Don't play games or anything, just want to have a fast laptop for google chrome and in general the operating system should run faster, just with ne ssd
Well, it's probably a little late now.
So a pretty fast notebook for little money.
300 euro… It couldn't be cheaper or faster. Even low gaming is possible, which is not the case with Intel.

And no, AMD RYZEN can't be compared to the old AMD CPUs.
Yes.
