This is now the history, the question is in the 3rd paragraph
Hello everyone, I have set myself a goal in the last few months to get a PC. I sold some and did some work, and now I got the rest for Christmas. I was planning to build a midrange PC, but now I've found an offer with an extra 50 euro, which is a good deal for the effort and the guarantee. This PC is a freely configurable, also called upgrade PC. It has an i9-10850k and a z490-plus (Wi-Fi) Maiboard, RAM, SSD, power supply, AIO water cooling and housing. I miss the graphics card. Since I don't have the money for a suitable graphics card at the moment, I thought I'd buy a temporary solution that goes by the name of GT 1030. (70 euro)
The question:
Do you think I can manage with the combo (i9-10850k (10 cores @ 3.7 GHz), GT 1030 @ 1265MGh)) in Fortnite Performance mode 720p and 75% res at least 60 FPS, even in very stacked lobbies? The graphics sound bad, but I've gotten used to it as I've played for a long time on a laptop that otherwise wouldn't have managed to frame reasonable frames.
NOTE THE GPU BOTTLENECK!
very long message, I know.
I'll keep it short - I haven't played Fortnite for a long time because I can't do anything with the game now (No hate, I had about 2500 hours of play myself.)
But I'm sure of one thing, you get to 60FPS and that's enough for tournament games.
Everything below that would be critical, but with the one described above that should be enough
Thank you very much, yes I can understand, wasn't that interested for a long time, but I had fun again to grind properly with friends again, the game is not fun on its own, you can't deny that.
